Shopko provider says retailer will quickly file for chapter

ASHWAUBENON (AP) — A pharmaceutical drug provider to Shopko says the Ashwaubenon-based retail chain is anticipated to file for chapter subsequent week.

McKesson Corp. says it equipped Shopko with $67 million in medication since Nov. 11 however has not been paid since early December. McKesson this week requested a decide for a restraining order to maintain Shopko from promoting the drugs it has equipped. McKesson lawyer Jeff Garfinkle mentioned throughout a courtroom listening to that Shopko is anticipated to file for chapter safety Jan. 15.

Press-Gazette Media says Shopko lawyer Stephen Hackney says a restraining order would require the retailer to shut its pharmacies and would hurt sufferers who want the drugs.

Brown County Circuit Choose William Atkinson rejected McKesson’s request. Neither Shopko, nor its mum or dad firm, Solar Capital Companions, returned requires remark.
