Southwest Airlines stated Thursday it has misplaced $10 million to $15 million this month due the partial authorities shutdown.
The estimate comes per week after rival Delta Air Lines stated it possible misplaced about $25 million in January with fewer authorities staff and contractors working because the shutdown enters its second month.
The quantities are small in contrast with carriers’ total income. Southwest posted $5.7 billion in income within the final three months of the yr, barely above analysts’ expectations.
